Perfect Starter SetApr 26, 2008 For 150 bucks you really can't go wrong. It gives you all the basics and then some for what you need to start playing golf. The only thing missing is a sand wedge. The only thing I didn't like was that they were all graphite shafts rather then steel. I prefer steel, but that's a personal preference.
Great FitMar 19, 2008 Purchased for my daughter, she has done very well with the clubs. The heads are forgiving for her as she develops her game. Overall, a good investment for someone who was getting started.
great beginner setAug 17, 2007 I have to say that this is a great value for a beginner set. As someone who has never had a set of clubs and is only just starting to play, you get a lot of clubs (including hybrids) and a decent bag for a good price. Having only played with men's sized clubs, it has made a big difference in my game. My one complaint is that my golf bag stand is not very efficient - I'm always adjusting the legs before setting it on the ground. And the club compartments are a little big of a tight squeeze. But otherwise, I'm pleased with the clubs - they're just the right length for someone 5'4".
Great deal, great buy!Jul 29, 2007 This was a great purchase. The shipping was a bit slow, but it was a heavy item. The only drawback was the absence of a sand wedge, but I just use one from my old set. The bag is nice. The driver and woods are good clubs and the hybrid clubs are good as well. The irons are great. The putter is really heavy, which I happen to like, but the grip and alignment take a little getting used to. Make sure you hit the practice green or mini golf for a good half hour with it to get familiar. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

1 star for company not productJul 05, 2007 I ordered this July 2nd. As soon as I ordered it and received my confimation email, I forwarded the email to my son and DIL.
About 2 hours later my son calls to tell me he forgot to tell me that my granddaughter is left handed.
I checked on Amazon.com to see if the item had been shipped yet and it had not. I left a message on the seller's voice mail at the listed 800 number. I never received a call back at all. About 4 hours later I received a shipment notice from them.
I am writing this on July 5th and as of this time I still have not had any correspondence from this company except the shipment notice.
In the message I left, I explained that I wanted to change the order to a left handed set. I did not want to cancel the order just change it.
I consider this very poor customer service. I am terribly sorry but I can not recommend the company "Golf Outlets of America".
